GRADUATION IS COMING!
Written By: Peter Denby, Jr.

This is the time of year that we tend to be reminded that there are many people who will be jumping into the work place fulltime. Many of these people will not be considering working fulltime for the Lord. Many others who are leaving high school are not considering a Bible college. We as adults, who have made our mistakes and learned from them, need to remind our youth that we need them to consider jobs in Christian fields. The Bible tells us of some of the different jobs that are available for us. "And He gave some, to be apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:" (Ephesians 4:11-12) We need to do everything that we possible can to assist God by getting His Word out and in supporting the saints. While some people are going into foreign lands we need to remember that in some ways large cities, such as New York, can well be a foreign land. Many workers are needed in these areas. In New York City there are many people with great spiritual needs to work with but the labors are few. In a city of over seven million less than one in ten thousand is a faithful believer. Part of that reason is that many people are not reached with the truth of God's Word. If you would like to consider working in New York City please write to Keith Canton at 257 East 10th Street, NYC, NY 10009 or call him at (212) 228-4837. New England as a whole is very short of workers. The Portland, Maine church is also in need of workers. If you can help out please write to David Stuart, at Fryeburg Church of Christ, RR 1 Box 392, Fryeburg, ME 04037 or call him at (207) 935-4919. Many other churches, and church camps, would love the help that you could provide. If you are just looking for a place to work for the summer look to the beauty of New England or the challenge of New York City. But please -

GET INVOLVED.

This is a user supported publication. We would like to believe that we could produce this publication without having to ask for help but that is not reality. We are currently producing 200+ copies every month. Out of that we hear from only a handful of you. We would like to hear from you to let us know if we are helping at all. It has come to the point to make the decision as to whether to continue putting money into this ministry or putting it in other areas (Douglas (MA) Bible Camp, local evangelism and local disaster relief to name a few). Please let us know how you feel. It currently takes $89 per month to produce and deliver this publication. If we can get approval from the post office and get over 200 publications mailed, then we will be able to produce it for $60 per month.
